Tried to change the oil this morning and discovered water mixed with oil. Looking for someone to fix the problem.

Not good...sounds like a job for Cat. Look up Cathouse marine under the business section of the forum. I'm sure many others will add their agreement to this recommendation.

Thanks. I got no answer when I called them. Do you know if they are open on Saturdays?

They are out of town at the beach.

Water in Oil is not good, did you winterize the boat?

I would make sure whoever you take the boat to that you have a high level of trust in as this could be a major issue.

I thought we did everything the manual said to do. Pulled the plugs from the block and manifold and drained the water, but when we tried to change the oil today, it all drained white and foamy.

Did you run coathanger wire up into the petcocks to make sure some rust didn't block the petcock?

Like Mav said, they are out of town for the weekend. My bet is that you will still have the best luck on turn around time by waiting to talk to Steve when he returns....I wouldn't be surprised if he checked the forum tonight or in the morning and sends you an email very soon.

Looks like you may have pulled a "Burglar"! I did not winterize and cracked my block MAJOR. But, "CatHouse" to da,rescue. Got me up and running in short time. Yeah, Dude you gotta call Da, Cathouse Marine located in Prattville. Phone is 334-358-2838. Steve, DeeDee, Mike & da gang will treat you right.

(Mine is a MerCrusier as well)

Probaly be the only time in your life you will feel good about paying for service.

PS: Could you check with Steve and see if he has made a bracket to hold my wifes make-up mirror on as a ski mirror? hehe

Later Folks

Burg

Everytime I go out of time yall break something! I'll be in the shop all day today playing catch up. We had a great 5 days at the beach. Day two loose starter on the Skater. Buddy sends me and head to starter place and they weld up the planatary gears and send me away (could not find new one). Day three, load boat up with all our chit and ALL FOUR BATTERIES DEAD :0 Spend an hour charging batteries and all else was well. Thanks for everyones support. Sea hunt, we will be happy to help you. You can bring it this afternoon if you like.

Steve

You are only boater I know that uses a hand held bathroom mirror for a ski mirror. LMAO. That is what I thought it was for anyway. Will never forget riding around in your boat and looking up on the dash and seeing that bathroon mirror. I just busted out laughing when I thought that is what you used if for. You could only imagine.
