I read an article recently that the only way to really destroy capitalism is to craete so much government spending and so much debt that the economy totally collapses.
Right now, today, Obama and the democrats are spending 170% (yes that number is right) of tax receipts. If they pass their healthcare proposal reguardless of lack of republican support or the support of the american people it is projected that number will grow to 185% of tax receipts. That does note even take in to account the impact cap and trade will have and even lower tax receipts from lower corporate earnings from both healthcare and cap & trade ... along with higher unemployment and businesses that will close because they can not afford the impact of either.
There is not enough people making over $250,000 to cover the shortfall, and the number in that high income braket has decreased significantly with teh collapse of the stock market and all the brokerage houses and banks that went under.
We are heading for a train wreck. I do wonder if that is Obama's plan. Then force socialism as the answer to have people turn to and rely on the government for survival.

I have had the feeling that o-BAMA's handlers have had that plan from the democrat convention where they let him speak in 2004. I wonder who the real powers are that pull his strings.

Time to change professions - every consider running for public office? All you have to do is throw your morals out the window, stop caring about people, learn to lie and smile while doing it (watch the movie "Little Nicky" for tips), and sign a deal with the devil. Put a campaign sign on the side of the boat and write off all the expenses. Parties at the Hangout could be turned into fund-raisers....
