Should Congress be enrolled in the very same plan they want to foist on us? This should be a bipartisan issue and my view is they should. If you agree, there has been legislation proposed by John Fleming and Tom Coburne, both doctors, that would require just that. If you support that go to the website below and sign the petition. Surely we can all agree that this is basic fairness.

I have not read anything that you are going to be forced into any plan. You will just continue to be covered under the plan you offer your employees. Where am I wrong???? This is another fairy tale like the death panels.

The big question is how to cover pre exisiting if people can continue to pick and choose whether to be covered. No insurance company can afford to cover a burning building.

There you go again MM - trying to bring our leaders back to being ordinary citizens. Get over it - the Government has become a self-sustaining entity since we consistently vote the same idiots into office. I agree, and also think that they should be barred from getting any sort of medical concierge service as well.

GF, you are just wrong about that. If they have a public plan and I decide to get rid of my insurance or only offer my employees the public plan then you have no choice. It is just another of Obama's many lies. But the whole point here is federal employees have access to plethora of private plans and what they are asking for in this legislation is that whatever comes down the pike in terms of reform apply to Congress. Why should they have it any better than the rest of us? And why should they have a clinic that gives them unlimited care for $500 per year? No waiting lines, their own pharmacy, etc.

You lost me. Why offer the public plan since you are so set against a public option? Just continue placing coverage with private insurance.

Do you plan to enroll in Medicare B and D when you attain age 65 or will you be more principled and refuse the government insurance know as Medicare?

You are the type of person who should run for office and bring change. I will even support your PAC.

It all depends. If Obama has his way I will be forced into Medicare. If some sense of sanity prevails in the running of the country I hope to never need it. Having said that, it is going to be bankrupt anyway so what makes you think it will even exist then.

I don't want it but if we have it jammed down our throats I want the bastards that did it to suffer along with the rest of us.
