I haven't tried it until now. But no, it won't work for me either. The complexity of things that could be wrong are making us think we need to offer both a Rich Text Editor (RTE) and a simplified version (as before). We may be able to check browser types and display the functionality that works for each browser. We've run into bugs with IE and had to disable some functionality.

You can now edit your posts within 30 minutes of your last change. Deletion of your own post is on the way. We want to provide a provision that does not break the chain and remove other people's posts that posted after you in the thread.

As for spell check... I highly recommend installing a spell checker plug-in for your browser... To accomplish that on the web we have to load additional libraries and that will only decrease performance. If you do it client side in your browser, then you can take advantage of adding words to your dictionary and utilize that on all sites you visit on the web.

Yep definitely IE issues as with IE 7 you do not see all the available functionality, just see the old Message box, not other functionality. I already use Google Spell check when I remember to use it - LOL. I would keep it simple stupid as trying to be everything to everybody can be a kiss of death.
