Just wondering what your take is on the Mass. race, in particular if you support the comments made by MSNBC Lib-Host Ed Schultz when he said that if he lived in Mass. that he would vote 10 times if he could to keep "that b@st@rd" out. Being a Dem, do you associate yourself with those sentiments?

Other night you had too much Ripple and must have fallen asleep. Here is my comment and it still applies:

"As to the election Tuesday, I have said before that I do not like when one party has control of Congress and the Presidency. The foundation of our Democracy is advice and consent through debate. One party is not healthly so I don't have too much concern if Brown wins."

As to voting 10 times it obviously is a figure of speech cause even ACORN was limited to 3 votes per member on 2008.

I wonder what your thoughts of Limbaugh getting invoked, as he did, in the Democratic prinary in Indiana with Project Chaos encouraging Republicans to vote for Clinton and prolong the Democratic Primary?

Would you agree with me that all primaries should be for registered voters of that party only and not open primaries?

My clear headed rippleless thoughts are as follows: I believe Rush the entertainer was directing his robots to go and vote 10 times each also in that primary! You must remember that I am also from Ga and recognize that cross voting was great political sport with the Dems in Ga for years and years, so I'm having a difficult time seeing the harm if the Repubs do it. So I say let's keep the fun factor in, in fact I hear there will be a renewed effort at the National Repub level to go to Chicago to find out how to get more dead people to vote successfully, so that trick will be ready for 2010! :-}

The polls show that Brown actually "increased" his lead after the Obama visit. The socialist are already working on plan "B" to force healthcare socialization down our throat ... even though that is why Oakley is losing.

The socialists are trying to get the house to just rubber stamp the senate version so it does not have to go back to the senate and they can pass it before Brown takes the seat. If that does not work, they said they will use reconciliation where they only need 51 votes ... that would not only be historical for legislation that is so much of the economy and the american people do not want.

I guess Obama missed constitutional law where they taught that we are a government for the people and by the people .... he just knows better than the people he is suppose to represent.

In his campaigning with Oakley, he made fun of Brown driving a "truck" ... what an elitist ... then said anyone can buy a truck. Brown came right back and said no Mr President ... everyone can not buy a truck due to your policies of higher taxes, bigger government and 10% unemployment.

What a message this election sends ... it just being close in a state that has all demoncratic representation.

I agree it appears Brown will win, however, don't forget Mass. is controlled by Dems and they are capable of anything to stay in power.

The Dems may well push it through like Bush did with appointments during the recess. Sadly, both parties can play the game and it just depends on which side you are on at the time.

GF, I think making recess appointments is vastly different than using the so-called "nuclear option" to pass legislation over the wishes of the American people and in contravention to Senate protocol. As you will recall there was a lot of pressure on the GOP when they controlled the Senate to use the point of order to stop a Dem filibuster of judicial nominations. They declined to do so despite the obstructionism of Dems because they obviously did not want to provide the precedent that would come back to haunt them. We then got the "compromise" of the Gang of 14 which in my view was a travesty.

Having said all that, using this option to stop the filibuster of judicial nominations is vastly less egregious than using it to bypass the longstanding right of the minority to impact legislation through the cloture vote.

You are comparing something that the majority of americans do not want, is 17% of our economy, and the reason Coakley will lose ... to some appointments. From from legislation.

Come on .... I would even give you more credit than making a statement like that.

But once again you surprise with your radical lefist view that supports the destruction of this administration.

This will be a VERY strong message to Obama and the socialists ... win or lose in Mass ... yet and and the rubber stamp dems just ignore the wishes of the american people and try to find ways to push through their agenda of socialism.

Ref your answer to GF on line 4, I think we should all hope for the destruction(end of) this administration

appointments to a cram down of the HC bill is a stretch at best........a recess appointment is for a time certain (can't remember details, but seems it's no longer than 12 months) whereas a cram down on HC would have permanent effect of law until changed or amended with far reaching implications for the whole of society.........GF needs a better comparison. Or, is he just hoping this gets done by the Dems before Brown is seated(if he wins)!?
