Any corporation who has posted the impact of Obama's Health care cost has been summoned to Washing by Waxman from California and Stupak from Michigan. Why? How dare these opposition forces to tell the truth about this magnificent piece of legislation.

Americans are now being subjected to bullying tactics by this administration when they voice any concerns about Obama's policies. Does it sound a little bit like Chavez in Venezuela?

This one is particularly interesting. All companies which have announced negative financial impact from the legistation are publicly traded, and as such, subject to SEC oversight and regulation. Further, the executives of these companies are subject to criminal prosecution under Sarbanes Oxley. So do you really think they are going to report a $100M - $1B "made up" number in their quarterly financials?

The fact is the new law eliminates a tax deduction for corporations that provide certain health benefits to former employees. This is a very real charge and one they are required to disclose lest they open themselves up to shareholder lawsuits.

It is time for these big businesses to begin fighting back against these strong-arm tactics being employed by Waxman. I am hoping for a "have you no shame" moment but: a) Dems have no shame; and b) the government media would never cover it anyway.

I have to agree with you as to the SEC requirement. Waxman can be quite overbearing as committee chair and irritates me at times with his line of questioning and interruptions of the witness.
