Subject:   The Fraud of Jobs Numbers
Date:   6/4/2010 12:26:05 PM

Of the 431K new jobs all but 41K came from the temporary workers hired by the Census Bureau. Here's the scam. They hire people for 2 to 3 months and then let them go only to rehire them in a month or two. They are denying it but there are hundreds of census workers across the country who have come forward claiming it is happening to them. If you assume each census worker makes $45K and the average private sector employee earns $50K and pays $10K per year in taxes it will take 4.5 private sector jobs at $50K per year to make one census worker job. This is not sustainable.

More devastating is that in May private sector job growth was only 41K which is incredibly down from previous months and is a downward trend that is showing no sign of abating. When are we going to hit negative private sector job growth? The markets are devastated by these numbers. They see the percentage of total income in the private sector dropping to Depression era numbers while government grows to near record levels and they are running from equities.

And what does dear leader do? He actually cheers these devastating numbers! He either does not understand basic economics or he cynically believes that Americans are so profoundly stupid that they will actually be cheered by the worst economic news in a while. I am uncertain as to which it is but neither is good......

I actually never thought in my lifetime I would ever see a worse president than Jimmy Carter .... but Obama has him beat hands down.

How he can stand there and think 40K private sector jobs created was a good thing is beyond me. The only positive thing was that we did not have net job losses. I guess a socialist like Obama thinks that creating government jobs on the backs of tax payers is as good as a private sector job .... no one has told him that a government job is a net drain on the economy since the government produces nothing and all funding must come from people and the private sector tax revenue.

The guy is clueless. Just like he is about the the oil disaster. A week before he was shooting his mouth about expanding off shore drilling, now he is banning all new drilling and wants to shut down the other 37,000 wells in operation. That is like shutting down all air travel because there is a plane crash.

He makes me sick every time I see his face on TV. And BTW, how is this dope getting away with going over a year without a press conference and the media not screaming. I can not imagine what they would have said if Bush ever did that ... especially with the state of the economy, forcing health care, the lack of transparency, the oil crisis, breaking the law offering jobs for candidates to get of of races, failed stimulus.

Ooops ... I guess I answered why he is not having any press conferences. I would go in hinding too considering how bad he is screwing everything up.

...this following piece is filling the Internet. ...don't know if it is true that no other president has held a press conference without flags. Couldn't find anything on it in the regular media coverage. ...but with lapel pins, national anthems, etc., it seems a continuing story. You'd think that just to avoid unnecessary controversy, his handlers would ensure the flags were there; I guess they just don't care. ..it's hard to believe he is the president...

Here's teh piece from the blogs:
"Did anybody notice at President Obama's Press Conference on the Deep Water Horizon disaster that something was missing in the background? I noticed something didn't look right and then it hit me. The American Flags were missing behind him. Why? Behind him were just yellow curtains, and a couple of gold columns with chandeliers."

"I went and researched and looked at photos of many press conferences (not press briefings) of past presidents as far as I could go and low and behold the American Flags stood proudly behind the President or off to the side. What was the reason for this? This was Obama's first formal press conference since July of 09 which at that conference there were U.S. Flags present. I am pretty sure this time that they had plenty of time to plan this and get it right?"

"So, maybe there was another motive for the flags absence. We know Obama (or his handlers) carefully choreograph his image, his appearances... It's why he's so teleprompter-dependent. Surely he and his advisers know that flag issues have been a lightning rod -- even before he was elected. I think this was deliberate. Could it be that Obama really is ashamed of America? Could it be that he thinks he is the citizen of the world which has no flag? Ladies and gentlemen this is very disturbing coming from the office of the Presidency. This is not normal to not have the symbol of the United States and its government in the east room of the White House and it is not very Presidential either. Many patriotic brave men and women have died under the stars and stripes called old glory. ..."

Martini, I have to agree with you that, if true, it is truly fraud. I heard it in the radio and let's see what developes from the whistle blowers who state they were hired, trained, worked a few days and were let go. They are not eligible for unemployment. They were then rehired and counted as a new hire. IN BUSINESS WE WOULD CALL THAT A LEAVE WITHOUT PAY.

The numbers were bad this month and that is a fact that can't be argued.

The fraud is really a side issue to me but one that needs to be addressed if only because it is using and abusing people who just want to work.

What scares me to death is the lack of private sector job creation. This is what happened in the depression and bodes very ill for our long hoped for recovery. I honestly believe this administration does not know what to do and is so ideological that they will rather destroy our economy than abandon their big government fantasies. They are approaching a death spiral.

The comparisons to Jimmy Carter are beginning to come from the left and the right. This disaster was predicted but even I am amazed by the scope of it and the hubris of the administration.
