Skeeter, glad you find that interesting. Perry was still a member of that party in 88, didn't see the light until 89. Gore, in 88, was casting himself, and his positions, as just right of center. The dims that year nominated Dukakis, who's record places him just left of LyingLerchKerry. Remember too that FatAl and Tipper, led the late 80's early 90's efforts to have certain music banned. The result was "label lyrics" legislation, applying a rating system to packaging of all prerecorded music sold at retail. The same applies now to video games. I was a fan of FatAl until the attempts to ban the music. I didn't then, and don't now like that C rap but I didn't have to listen to it either. That was when I realized FatAl was a statist. Anyway, that Perry point, as well as democommieprog efforts to ban behavior they don't like, have been made in a number of posts over the last few days. Southern dems used to be todays republicans. Many are stll very conservative and fiscally responsible. As the party keeps falling off the left coast ... many southern dems are giving up on the party and joining the republicans for rational and fiscally responsible thinking to save america and get people woking again.
Maybe he is someone you can support fish ... lets face it Obama has done nothing, even you have not been able to say why he still deserves your support. He does not have a plan and his policies have failed. The only budget he ever submitted was going to grow the deficit even more than he already has ... even the dems voted it down and could not align with it.
He is not a leader ... only a blame machine that will never take responsibility for failure ... but will grab the glory from anyone when he thinks it is something good that will make himself look better.
Is that really someone you can be proud of and support for another 4 years?

there you go never answering a question ... but to your question ... anyone would be light years better than Obama. But it is too early to say who I would like most. I want to hear more and who I think will squash Obama. A clear message was sent last November, and November 2012 we need to take back the country no matter what.
Cut the spending, reduce regulations, repeal Obamacare, and get government out of the way so the private sector can create jobs for all the people suffering from Obama's failed policies.
