GDP goes negative again which is no surprise to those of us in business. Watch for many more millions to leave the labor force over the next two years as Obamacare becomes fully effective. One more quarter like the last and we are officially back in a recession. FDR - Jimmy Carter - Obama...........same feckless policies....same results.

I could go into a long explanation about why these policies have always failed and will always fail but what's the point? We have become a nation of takers and since elections have consequences those that voted for Obamination will be the ones that get screwed ala union membership being at a 30-year low. Keep voting for Dems and you get what you deserve. As for me, I will keep laying off employees and reducing their work hours so the profits keep coming in.......and they will never learn........

What a surprise that the shocking drop in GDP that none of the so-called experts predicted is because of a hurricane that impacted only the coastal area of 2 or 3 of 50 states and a sequestration that has not actually yet happened. GF, even for you that is a pathetically weak attempt at an explanation but I know you love those talking points so keep em coming.

I am actually surprised you didn't take the other apparent Democrat talking point that this is "surprisingly good" negative GDP number. I would put LOL or even ROFLMAO but its hard to laugh at the damage being done to our economy by the incompetent TOTUS. Face it dude, we are seeing exactly what those of us that understand economics and have a working knowledge of history easily predicted. This kind of result happens every time we try this but for some reason y'all on the left just love to repeat your bad history.

Yes, despite having passed multiple budgets that were never even considered by the Dem-led Senate, despite the Dem-led Senate not having passed a budget since they took control in 2006 despite that being a violation of federal law, despite the GOP having compromised on the tax issue and will do so again on the debt ceiling, despite only controlling one branch of government with Dems controlling the other two branches, despite Obama not being able to get even a single vote for any of his budgets from any member of congress from either party, despite them having passed Obamacare without a single GOP vote (with all the additional taxes and the soaring health insurance costs that have resulted), despite having trillion dollar plus deficits controlled exclusively by Obama and his administration, despite all the hundreds of millions invested in so-called green energy companies, and on and on.......despite all that its all the GOP's fault!

Oblamer is not responsible for one thing that happens in the economy. Its always someone else's fault. And you know what? Given the sorry state of our govt school system, the behavior of the sycophantic govt media that is controlled by the WH and the profusion of low information voters....he will most likely get away with this abject lie.

I know this is just funny to you and like most left wing nuts you really don't care about the millions of people that can't find a job or who have lost their jobs recently (note the big jump in jobless claims at the same time Oblamer dumped his jobs council). To me it is disheartening to see people vote for Democrats, get awful results, believe the lies and then vote for them again. Hence the very appropos term low information voters.

And of course the stock market is going up at the same time. If you look at the politics of the wealthy it is no surprise that Democrats make sure their big donors are taken care of. They always overtax income and leave their wealthy donors alone. That way they keep the little people, especially blacks and hispanics in their place.....assuming they miss the opportunity to abort them first.

And yes, TOTUS is in fact my President but I didn't vote for him and when we get the logical and sadly all too certain results of his feckless, incompetent policies I am going to remind all those low information voters and deluded left wing nuts that I was right all along. For the next four years you will be hearing, I told you so a lot. Like Rick Santelli said, we have become Europe. Mission accomplished for your messiah, not mine.

Unemployment back to 7.9% as reported and much higher in reality. 170,000 people gave up ever finding a job last month. IRS says cheapest family insurance plan will cost $20,000. Retail work week hits four year low. Gasoline is back over $4 per gallon while TOTUS delays the Keystone pipeline another 6 months.

Still yucking it up and singing happy days are here again, left wing nuts?
