Dr O’Connor said Mr Biden also underwent an “extremely detailed neurologic exam” to confirm that the stiffened gait he has exhibited in the last few years is the result of “wear and tear” on his spine and not any sort of degenerative neurological condition.

The physician added that the neurological exam “was again reassuring in that there were no findings which would be consistent with any cerebellar or other central neurological disorder, such as stroke, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's or ascending lateral sclerosis”.

I don't think anyone thought he wasn't in good physical shape for his age - although he has AFIB and high cholesterol.  But thei test did not include cognitive function which is where his problem lies.  I watched his word salad briefing yesterday in which he said nothing of importance - but, this was not the Joe Biden of the SOTU address - yesterday, he just looked old and frail.

Understand he addressed the new black governor of Maryland yesterday and referred to him as "boy".  Perhaps old Joe is not as woke as he pretends to be. 

there is no doubt that he will run in 2024, but the real question is whether people will be stupid enough to vote for him again.

As to your last question the answer is many were stupid enough to vote for him in 2020 when he spent the entire campaign hiding in his basement......I doubt much has changed.  The better question is whether the GOP can nominate a candidate that will get their base out and attract Independents and whether the ballot box stuffing will be allowed.  On the former, my opinion is that would not be Trump.

As for the exam, I don't think anyone with common sense will conclude anything other than it was a sham by a political hack doctor.  What said doctor is telling us is to believe him and not our lying eyes and ears.  Brandon was cognitively impaired in 2020, is much worse today (despite the doses of Adderall to get him through the rare presser and speech) and will be a vegetable if he wins a second term.

Reminds me of the attractiveness of disabled candidates to voters in some of the states.  81 million votes last election and the late night votes in PA.

Like I said elsewhere, Democrats would elect a corpse if the deceased candidate had a D after their name.  One thing Shrek Fetterman and Brandon have in common are wives that love the power and prestige more than their husbands......way more.

It is always someone elses fault. Look in the mirror and you will see a flawed candidate who was a carpetbagger from New Jersey. The Right needs to do a better job selecting candidates...just look at Santos, Walker, and Tubby. The Right will vote for a piece of wood if it has an R on the label.

It is becoming a fact that to be elected statewide in a number of states, you need  Independents and not just the Right base or the far left.

Goofy, unless there is mass fraud (which there always is in PA...where I grew up ya know) it is always the fault of the voters.  That is who I placed the blame on.  As for your other names I offer you the following response:

Dr. Oz - obviously a flawed candidate and unlike NY where they readily voted for one (Shrillery), apparently PA voters are a little more discriminating....at least the ones that lean conservative.

Santos-none of the news about his fabricated background was known before the election.....can't say the same about the mental issues for Shrek or Biden can you?  And like most Republicans, I think he should resign.  Democrats never do that and you indeed voted for one of the two diminished candidates and would have voted for the other had you been a PA resident.

Walker- he lost, dummy.  He was unable to get out the base like Kemp did.  Kind of disproves your point doesn't it?

Tubby-Tuberville could be the dullest tool in the GOP toolbox but would still have far more going for him intellectually than a guy who was in the early recovery stages from a massive stroke and another guy that was demonstrably declining mentally when he ran and has done nothing but gone downhill......as we predicted with both of them. 

So nope, none of your examples is even remotely dispositive of anything.  Why do you make this so easy?

I was curled up thinking about the D vote for Fetterman and found it enlightening, using your logic about PA, that you would vote for a Democrat if the Republican candidate had a stoke. Use your brain....in Pennsylvania, the Democratic Governor will name a replacement if Fetterman resigns. Then, you can bitch when he does't select OZzie. So, it's a win win for PA and the weenie.

So when Fetterman dies from the stress that he should have never been subjected to is worth it to you to allow the Dem Governor to nominate another Dem.  Nice Goofy....nice....and heartless and cruel.....but you be you.  This does not reflect well on your humanity.

The guy should have never won the nomination given his medical condition because had his wife really loved him she would have asked him to drop out.  That any Dem would have had a very good chance at winning is pretty obvious.  Conor Lamb was a very good option for them and I believe would have won more easily than Shrek did because he can actually complete a sentence.  Instead, they have a guy that is going to be in and out of the hospital and missing votes until he either dies or is completely incapacitated and has to resign.

I would hope that had the frontrunner in the GOP primary had a massive stroke that: a) his family would love him more than the power and prestige and get him to drop out; or b) the GOP primary voters would have not made him the nominee.

Fetterman could not possibly won that election.  Hopefully the voters would not have subject him to such torture if they watched the debate.  Biden traveled to support him and mentioned that his wife is the real candidate and would be senator soon.  

I guess my point is that I saw that in the press and I was and am astonished that a guy in Alabama would have never voted for such a damaged candidate.
