Since water rises to its own level, I imagine the different depth readings come from Cat Boat and his friends turning up waves and otherwise causing APC fits when they try to maintain specific levels during the year. Their big engines and high speeds can cause wave action similar to that generated by earthquakes. Beware, if CATand his buddies continue next summer we may have a Tsunami at Lake Martin during the July 4th weekend. Hopefully, APC will read this an monitor the lake over the 4th to prevent any flooding.

For the record, my boat makes very little wake..... I'll have no part in a Tsunami of anykind. The faster the boat, the less the wave.... or at least in my case. Gonefishin', you crack me up.
