Can't understand why this is bad since it is just Republican politics as ususual. McCain denies it but the facts say otherwise.

It's only getting worse for John McCain's campaign manager, Rick Davis. Following the news that Davis was paid $2 million over five years as president of an advocacy group set up by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, the New York Times now reports that Freddie Mac paid Davis's lobbying firm $15,000 a month up until last month. The firm was kept on the payroll because of Davis's close ties to McCain. The news comes after McCain insisted that Davis has had no involvement with Freddie Mac for several years.

Why even try ... your replies are so weak and meaningless. You throw out some silly statement when it is part of congressional record that McCain warned of the problem and sponsored a bill to fix it before it became a crisis, while your candidate was suing banks that did not give out enough sub prime loans. And your party kept sticking their heads in the sand saying there was no problem. While Waters called Franklin Raines and "outstanding leader" and CEO. My God can you and them be that ignorant just to accept it and defend it. Unbelievable.
