Does it bother anyone what the media and Obamination campaign have done to silence Joe the Plumber? All for asking a question of Obamination and then not liking the answer. It is very scary that an ordinary American must be destroyed in order to elect a politician. Palin, Joe, who's next?

That is the liberal machine at work ... if anyone dare not agree they will try to destroy you.
Did you hear the part about his license? They are making a big deal that he does not have an Ohio license .... but it is totally legal to work under his bosses license while he takes the master plumber exam. The reason he does not have it in Ohio is that he moved so he could be closer to his son since he is divorced and his ex wife was relocated. To me that is an honorable man (more than Obama's father did). In fact Joe was tossing the football with his son when Obama walked down his street and he decided to ask him a question. Joe did not seek out Obama, never said he made $250m a year.
But how dare Joe not want to spread the wealth to those that are too lazy to work as hard as Joe. How dare Joe even question the plan of Obama ... he must be a racist if he does not agree with Obama. Why else would he question Obama's redistribution of wealth tax plan?

McCain used Joe as the centerpiece of the debate mentioning Joe's name 20 times. As with anything either party says, the other party will try and find "dirt". That is not new and is the way it works. You know it and so do I.
The truth is that Joe stated to Obama that "He was planning to buy" That excited the McCain campaign when in fact he has no plans, no plumbing license to operate a business, and a lien against him. He may have hopes for the future which are admirable to someday own his own business. Joe had every right to ask Obama any question he wanted to. Maybe, Mccain should have talked with him before using his name in the debarte. On Letterman, McCain apologized to poor Joe.
No one is trying shut up Joe by looking into his background. Blame McCain for subjecting the poor guy to all the TV time on CBS and Huckabee for which I assume he was compensated. There are Joe The Plumber shirts on sale for $19.95 online. Why don't you put your money where your mouth is and support Joe with the purchase of a shirt?????

I'm glad you weighed in on this. To quote Gwen Ifil (when challenged about her obvious and undisclosed conflict of interest in moderating the debate), its the answer that is important, not the questioner. Joe understands two things that liberals do not understand: 1) when Obamination says he won't raise taxes on those who make less than $250K he is lying; and 2) in America even though he currently doesn't make $250K he can aspire to that and recognizes the fundamental unfairness of punishing hard work, risk taking and achievement.
The media has done most of the dirty work in trying to pillory a guy who was throwing a football with his son when he was approached by Obama, who gave that very revealing answer. OBAMA IS A SOCIALIST WHO FAVORS INCOME REDISTRIBUTION! That is the key to this whole episode, not whether Joe makes $250K, or has a plumbing license (he operates under the current owners like many plumbers) or whatever. It is always the case that liberals seek to destroy the messenger, a tactic perfected by the Clinton's with their bimbo eruption goon squads of lawyers and PIs and Obama has learned well.

Martini, you asked a simple question which I responded to. You questioned the attempt by the media to silence Joe. Now, you are into redistribution of wealth and taxing achievers. That was not your question nor my response.

I guess I was driving toward why they want to slilence or discredit him. The message Obama sent from the interchange was crystal clear and will hurt him. The only way for the campaign, in close coordination with the mainstream media is to try to discredit him in order to silence him and change the subject. A glimmer of light came through on who Obama and instead of owning up to his comment and telling the truth they choose to obfuscate and try to destroy the messenger.
Of course McCain is glad that this opportunity for America to see who Obama is and he would be negligent to not exploit the exchange.
