I went to the web site that is used to compare Obama's tax rate savings versus McCain's in the current TV advertisement. The savings calculated for tthis site for incomes from $40,000 to $150,000 showed savings of $1800 to $2100 for OBama's plan and always zero for McCain's. The site does not list differences between Obama's plan and McCain's that are used to calculate the savings. I suspect that the savings are not factual. Why would the savings differences be only $300 between incomes of $40,000 and $150,000?

I would be interested in what others see when they go to this site - obamataxfacts.org.

Welcome to the forum You will find that 99% of the posters are rich Republicans earning well over $250,000. They are NOT happy calculating their taxes.

GF wants to try to demonize conservatives that oppose Obama as only the rich that make over $250K. Since only 5% of earners allegedly make over $250K and at least 45% up to as much as 50% of the electorate are going to vote for McCain it demonstrates the falsehood of his class eny rheotoric. You cannot trust anything that comes from either campaign and need to verify its accuracy.

Here is the fundamental problem with this alleged tax calculator that is a fabrication of the Obama campaign. Obama/Reid/Pelosi have all committed to letting the Bush tax cuts expire. This means that each marginal tax rate will increase from the lowest to the highest. As a result, every American that pays Federal taxes will see their taxes go up under Obama! Re-read what I just wrote, If you pay 10% it will go to 15%, if you pay 15% it will go to 28% and so on. EVERY SINGLE TAXPAYER WILL PAY MORE IN TAXES UNDER OBAMA/REID/PELOSI!!

He is lying about this and the claim that 95% of Americans will see a tax cut. That is impossible because 40% of wage earners don't pay any Federal taxes in the first place. He has promised to increase taxes for families earning anywhere from $120K to $250K (the amount depending on the day of the week and the direction of the wind) and then give tax credits to people WHO DO NOT PAY FEDERAL TAXES. I don't know about you but giving money to a person that doesn't pay federal taxes is hardly a tax cut. How do you cut from $0??? You cannot! That is called wealth redistribution or robbing from Peter to give to Paul, upon which you can always count on the support of Paul.

Please don't believe me. Read about the Bush tax cuts where every American that actually pays Federal taxes saw a reduction in their rate. Read what Obama/Reid/Pelosi have said about their plans for letting the Bush tax cuts expire. Think it through for yourself and you will see that he is lying and plans to redistribute your hard earned money to people who do not pay any taxes.
