I voted for Obama and can live with the high deficits, lower stock prices, and overtures to the Axis of Evil. But, this has changed my mind about him. I know Palin would never have done anything like this.
Car and Driver is reporting that President Obama has ordered all Chevrolets and Dodges out of NASCAR. "A complete withdrawal from America's premier racing series is expected to save more than $250 million between GM and Chrysler, a substantial amount considering the drastic measures being implemented elsewhere." With their racing budgets deemed "unnecessary expenditures," GM and Chrysler are ordered to cease racing operations at the end of the season.

I had heard it was an April Fool's joke. Tell me its not true because I read a marketing article recently and it presented several studies that showed that no other sport creates the brand loyalty that NASCAR does. If your guy drives the Tide car, you buy Tide. If he is GM man, you buy GM, etc.
If he really said that as a serious requirement then he is even a bigger fool that I believe....and that's no mean feat!

It is indeed April Fool from Car and Driver. They do one every year. My man Obama is not that foolish. Gee, you gotta give him some credit.

I guess every good April Fool's joke, like good humor, has to have an element of truth to it but when you posted it I fell hook, line and sinker even after not believing the news piece I saw.... Family is well and ready for summer, especially at the lake. We send our first off to college next year.....sigh, I'm getting old I guess, although I still feel young. Hope yours is as well.
Can you believe we attracted another liberal poster?!?! He does call himself a moderate but we right wingers know better. :-) I'll email you this summer so we can get together for some martini's.
