It is obvious that our military has world class technology and can achievable outstanding results if permitted.

Of course they do. Some of it is just mind-boggling. Our military is the best equipped and best trained anywhere in the world.
I used to get briefings on new military technologies because I worked in technology security. I also went to a lot of defense contractors plants. Amazing stuff. If you ever wondered what happened to those pocket protector "nerds" from high school, I can assure you that they are working for defense contractors coming up with this stuff. Some of it is so advanced, the people who designed it don't even totally understand how it works and why. Artificial intelligence is just amazing, and the fully integrated electronics that is in the advanced fighter aircraft is just stunning. The technology is moving faster than we can figure out what to do with it.

Now if we could just figure out where Bin Lauden is.

I have had the opportunity many times to watch the new Raptor F22 in action at Tyndall Air Force base outside of Panama city FL. Tyndall's primary mission is to train pilots for the Raptor. I have watched them fire off drones which the Raptor will hunt down over the Gulf. These drones are like small rockets with wings painted orange. When they leave the pad they remind me of a cruise missile as they fly parallel to the ground and the whoosh they go up at a 45 degree with high velocity out over the Gulf.

I went to the air show last year and they had a Raptor on display that you could view from 3 feet away. A Col who is head of the instructors took one up and performed awesome maneuvers.
