"Former congressman Anthony Weiner is gaining ground in the race for New York City mayor, according to two new public opinion polls. A new Quinnipiac University poll released Wednesday shows the disgraced Democrat, who resigned two years ago amid a sexting scandal, is now in a virtual tie with City Council Speaker Christine Quinn and ex-city Comptroller William Thompson."

You should be cheering this guy on. This is your and all liberals' style. You probably even cheered Clinton on for getting a BJ in the Oval Office. If Hillary gets to be president we will have gone from Bill getting BJs in the Oval Office to Hillary giving BJs in the Oval Office. I can hear all the liberals cheering her on. Apparently another more recent poll is showing a third candidate, Bill Thompson, as the one really surging. For some reason the presumed nominee Christine Quinn has been losing support and Wiener, having name recognition, was for a while the main beneficiary. But Thompson got the teacher's union plug which is apparently helping. So we shall see whether he is or isn't the Dem candidate.
But I think we should be honest here and admit that a great many New Yorkers are probably not all bunched up about the guy flashing his Wiener over the internet to underage girls. What will kill his chances is not that, but his ability to win. If they think he can win, he will get their support. If not, he is toast.
