A lot of my friends frequent this place. A large group of us went a couple Sundays ago. My first time.

Everyone raves about them.

I thought it was ok... their omlettes are great, but I ordered a Philly Cheese Steak omlette and it was terrible. Their coffee was awful too... very watered down and I had to wait til all the orders were taken and all the other drinks were brought before I got a cup of coffee. I don't think I've ever been to an eating place that didn't have coffee cups on the table already and the server showed up at the table with a pot. Not here. They brought a cup alone... not an empty pot and a cup. LOL. And powdered creamer. yuk. I need half&Half.

But I'll go back again. Everyone loves the place. I just will not order coffee or a Philly Cheese Steak omlette. :)

I have not heard of this place, where is it located?

It's on 63, not far off 278 on the right.

If you turn South on 63 off 278 its a couple miles down on the right. JUST before the right fork to the Houston Rec area and JUST across the street from the old Historic Winston County Jail.

Used to be a gas station and country store a few years back.

Coming up from Arley, take 63 and its probably 4-5 miles on the left.

Thanks Bill. I noticed that the station had changed to a restaurant but did not know the name. I heard a week ago that it was good and now I will have to try it out.

Wife and I ate here about 3 weeks ago for dinner. Everyone around seems to rave about it, but we found it just ok - would go back, but its not what I would call a "great" destination restaurant, more like a decent country diner, which I guess is about all we can expect up on this side of the lake. Haven't had breakfast here yet, but will try it sometime.

the omlette I had was very good.  Several people have all agreed that the fried shrimp is not a keeper.  Prime Rib was  delicious.  Sea bass was well seasoned and was good.  Salmon was also very good.  I've been three times and will definitely go back.
