That's a lot!  It was a much busier than usual weekend on our end of the lake.  Thank you for all that y'all do to keep our lake safe!

that out all those items listed (59) only the wreckless operation and careless operation (6 tickets) were what is considered police "judgement" tickets. The rest are completely avoidable and all happened because of user judgement/error. One of the BUI's was a friend of a friend who went out on a seadoo around dark and was over the limit. Why they let him go I don't understand. Just a total waste of money. I guess the marine boats need servicing too so someone has to pay for it.

I find it amazing that more than 13 people (I'm sure a few got away with it) drove around on a busy holiday weekend with an expired registration....I would figure even the mostly clueless could figure that one out. As you said, most (if not all) citations were completely avoidable.  It's sad we had another lost life on the lake this weekend.

I agree. about the expired registration. I don't know about there, but, here you can renew at Wal-Mart... really no ecuse other than forgetfulness... or just plain blatant.
I have however been subject to stupidity myself. When I bought the boat I have now, I just went and got new sticker and paid my sales tax. (done at the county clerks office here in TN) I never looked at the actual numbers on the hull... well, after thre years, one day I was floating around and noticed that the numbers on the sticker and the numbers on the hull didn't match.... oops!!! I felt pretty darn stupid! Every boat I had bought before, the numbers were always the same.. just diferent owners names on the registration card...

Anyway... I hope everyone had a great and safe holiday weekend!!!!

Crappy : )

(just outside of Nashville)

That was certainly an understandable mistake you made...I could easily do something like that too; Maybe there is more to the registration violations, but if it was a plain lack of renewal they deserve a sign.
