A friend of mine was driving around the Smith Lake area near Double Springs (he thinks that is where he was) and saw an old Ford Falcon convertible in a fenced yard. He really would like to know if anyone knows where this car is located. He would like to see if they are interested in selling the car. I anyone has any information please let me know. I think he said the car was white.

I drove a 1960 Ford Falcon while I was in college at UGA. I rememeber having to turn on the heater during the summer to keep the engine from overheating between Atlanta and Athens. What a cool car!

I have to add my 2 cents, my second car in 1966 was a 1961 4 door that looked like someone painted it with the back side of a vaccuum cleaner, which was an option on an Electrolux, I painted the dash torquose with spray cans, traded it for a 1964 Comet Caliente, best looking and besst car I ever owned. A friend of mine flew to California to buy an older falcon convertible and drove it back to Montgomery, Al, about 10 years ago.
