Well that was easy. Let me sum this up. Tax, tax and then tax some more. And Republicans want you to die, your Grandma to starve to death, your roads and bridges to collapse, and they want to give tax breaks to the wealthy, etc. This was potentially the most vacuous speech of his career and that is saying a lot. So he promises to plan to have a plan....someday....maybe....
This is right out of the Democrat party playbook on demonizing the GOP when they want to instill some fiscal sanity into the federal budget. This man is not serious and should not be taken seriously.

I agree ... I had to turn it off. It was making me sick. Class warfare ... those greedy rich people that worked hard for their success. He fails to mention to the unknowing american people that a high percentage of deductions already are phased out above certain income levels. Yes the marginal rate went down, but deductions were eliminated and phased out which raises the effective rate on earned incomes.
The most generous cuts for income over $250K was small business owners with direct write-offs of investments.
I did hear how he will not accept changes to this or that ... basically he said, i want to reduce the deficit but if it impacts his base that is fullof entitlements, he will not go for it ... so like you said ... raise taxes.
He is already sticking it to lower income americans with his energy (or lack of) policy.
Obama is such a clown ... how can anyone support this dope ... othe than fishy ... that is just par.
He is bankrupting american, he is focused on all the wrong things and he basically says he will draw a line in the stand to do nothing other than what he wants. Just like he forced healthcare down our throats. He is in for a surprise come the debt ceiling. I hope the republicans stand the line no matter what it means. This dope will be responsibile for the outcome due to his arrogance.
Yeah ... Obamacare will save a trillion dollars ... what a laugh ... he can not get a person with any intellegence to confirm or say how that will be done. The government is so good at running large entitlement rpograms cost effectively ... the track record is not there. but now because he says it will save it will.
