We were on the lake yesterday and saw a bunch of these strange jelly looking things. About the size of a quarter. They were floating everywhere. What the heck are they?

I have read on this forum that there are fresh water jellyfish in Lake Martin.

Freshwater Jellyfish, I usually see them when I am diving the Old Kowaliga Bridge.

My son scooped up a couple of them when we were fishing Talasi (sp.?) slough and they were jellyfish, but dead. We saw hundreds of them floating - seems there was a die off.

Talisi slough is where we saw the most as well. Dead jellies make sense. Sure was a crazy sight!! Thanks
