Wouldn't you hate to put on the line like APCo? Having all of this water to generate cheap elecricity and not being able to push it downstream? Granted.... I like to use the lake I go to at full pool, but I also understand that TVA likes to generate with Hydro as much as possible, not coal or natural gas. Sure it's the same with APCo. Hope all is well down there.... maybe we can get some of the moisture up here.

Not true ... they use hydro as a backup for peak demand now. That was not the case 30 years ago. Today hyro generates less than 5% of all the demand. They do not get enough KW out of hydro (at least for the size of the Martin Dam) to use it as a primary source. So they use it to supplement the peak summer demands and controling water flow, etc.
