Log your complaints with the water patrol, 329-2268. Tell them where the buoys are and they will check them out.

Marine Police only approve where the markers can be place. They nor the state /fed or AL power are responsible for maintaining them. A group of volunteers from the LMRA place them and take care of them. If you want to help, joint the LMRA and the yearly dues go to help maintain the markers.

Now I could be wrong, but don't think so. Are you sure the marine police do not place them? I am only saying this because I have witnessed a lot of hazard bouys in the back of the marine police boats leaving anchor bay. I am sure they don't carry those around for the heck of it.

Nope, they just help out the LMRA team on the days that new ones or replacements are being done. LMRA team has a special work boat they use, I'm the MP were helping with the transport to the locations.
