From what I understand from talking to some of the Russell employees, the Boat Ban will not be in effect for the concert. Was just wondering if anyone else has heard the same thing. With this the case and from what I heard from the same source, there will be several, several boats of good size coming in form all over, who is going to tell them to leave, if they decide to stay.

I don't know if the boat ban LAW will be in effect or not, but I do know that if RL thinks that they get to decide which laws are enforced, their arrogance is worse than even the biggest RL-haters have said.

I notice there are fields with banners advertising RV parking all the way south on Hwy 63 at the intersection of HWY 80. I guess they plan on shuttling folks in. Besides the boat only thing is not practical. If you think the firework crowd is a mess, this will be worse!

I really do not think Allan Jackson cares. I just posted what I heard. To me why do the lake rules change as far as big boats, a law is a law. If big boats are banned, then why to you let them come. If they decide to stay, who will tell them to leave. It makes no difference to me, but where do you draw the line.
