New Joisey. Now that is funny. Yall don't give Pontoonfisher to much hell. I met him at Aquapalooza, he's no Yankee. More like a redneck....

I was born and grew up around the Central East Coast of NJ. Springsteen territory. I lived in Wall Township. Lived in NJ until I was 30 when I moved to DC.

People who think that it's "Nu Joisey" have watched too many Sopprano's episodes. The only ones who talk like that are the Guidos and Guidettes from NY and "the Island" who invade the Jersey beaches in the summer.

As far as my being a Yankee or a "damn Yankee" well, I wear it proudly, and as Forrest Gump would say "And that's all I have to say about that."

There's an old saying that goes like this.....American by birth, Southern by the Grace of God...

I've heard that one!
After watching the Alabama vs. Texas game last night, I was so proud of Alabama, you would have thought I'd been born here. Mark Ingram is awesome!

Hound, another one here. I'm a Piney from Evesham Township, on the Medford line. Spent many, many summers on LBI at Barnaget Light. Couldn't get the Barnaget screen name, so have used the modified Barneget for the last 16 years.
