Tropical storm Fay has saturated south and central Florida and is projected to move over Alabama and Georgia. Wouldn't surprise me at all if Lake Martin hits full pool again. Hope it doesn't visit over the holiday weekend.

This storm system is welcome news for many lake folks. I heard in a report that as much as 20 inches of rain is expected.

I hope it moves north of the forecasted area. The report this morning said the heavy stuff would be south of Montgomery.

This system will be long gone for the holiday weekend (Labor Day). It will hit Alabama this weekend and should have semi-clear skies next Wednesday at the latest.

Don't get your hopes up for 20 inches of rain. The current storm track is showing it moving mor south in Alabama. The lake and its watershed will probaly only get scattered showers.

Yea, the news now is the heavy spots are 10 inches in Florida and it will only weaken.

This has been a big slow moving storm. Parts of central FL have already received over 24" and it is still raining over much of the state. Our lake Okeechobee which has been under drought conditions for 2 years now will be in good shape. Right now it's projected to hit Southern AL. Maybe if we all pray real hard it will wobble a bit north and hang out over the lake for a while.
